新航台北-新加坡-馬爾地夫商務艙(Singapore Airlines Business Class: Taipei-Singapore-Maldives)

我大約在下午三點就到了第二航廈,那時候雖然還很早,但新航的報到已經開始,而且經濟艙的櫃台前面已經大排長龍。還好商務艙櫃台只有一兩個人而已,所以我只等了幾分鐘,就有一個報到櫃台空出來幫我報到了。整個報到手續非常迅速,地勤人員也幫我把我的行李直接掛到了馬爾地夫(這樣就不用在新加坡處理行李的事情),還有幫我印出了此行的兩張登機證。貴賓室的邀請是直接印在登機證上的,所以不會有另外的邀請函,我覺得是很不錯也很環保的設計。報到完之後就是安檢跟通關,這裡排隊的人就非常多,但大約也只排了15分鐘的隊就結束了。通關之後搭手扶梯上樓,就會看到新航的貴賓室囉!

I got to the terminal at around 3 PM, check-in has already opened for Singapore Airlines and there’s a long line forming in the economy section. Luckily, there was just a couple of people in the business line, I just had to wait a couple of minutes before one counter opens up. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the agent quickly had my bags checked all the way to Male. Boarding passes were printed with the invitation to the SilverKris Lounge printed on it (no separate lounge invitations issued). Security and immigration had long lines but all of us were quickly processed in less than 15 minutes. Then it was just an escalator ride up to the SilverKris Lounge.





新航在台北的貴賓室其實相當普通。但食物還算不錯,雖然選擇不多,但是至少口味很好。我特別喜歡那天的豬肉跟湯品,真的非常好吃/好喝!可惜的是貴賓室沒辦法直接看到飛機,因為是面對停車場的,所以有點無聊。而且因為那天的班機滿艙,所以貴賓室的人還不少。還好座位數還算充足,所以每個人都可以有一兩個座位,也不會覺得太擠。大約在登機開始前十分鐘我就離開貴賓室前往登機門了。

The lounge itself was kind of average. The food was nice, not exactly a wide selection, but all of them tasted great. I especially loved the pork and soup offered. It’s a pity that the lounge did not have a view of the runway and planes, but facing the parking lot instead. It was also crowded because we had a full flight today in business class. But there was plenty of seating so there’s still enough seats for everyone. I left about 10 minutes before boarding and it was just a short walk to the gate.

登機不知道為什麼晚了五分鐘左右,但他們一開始就邀請商務艙旅客登機,甚至比帶小孩的乘客還早!我想我大概是第二個登機的吧,一上飛機之後就有空服員來幫我掛外套,還有提供飲料(香檳~)、熱毛巾和報紙跟雜誌。因為今天商務艙全滿的關係,包含座艙長總共有四位空服員服務商務艙。負責我這冊的台籍空服員人真的非常好,服務也非常到位。但另一位空服員相較之下就比較機械化一點,雖然說服務不差,但我卻從來沒有看到她有微笑過。

Boarding was delayed for about 5 minutes, but then they quickly announced boarding for business class passengers (even before passengers with children!). I think I was the second one to board. The FA greeted me and immediately offered to take my coat for me. Pre-departure beverages (champagne, of course) and hot towels came soon after, a wide selection of newspapers/magazines followed right after that. SInce it was a full cabin in business class today, the purser and 3 other FAs worked in the business class cabin. The Taiwanese FA working my aisle was very friendly and attentive. The other FA, however, was much more mechanic. I never saw a smile on her face.

這是我第一次搭新航的區域性商務艙,所以趕著在起飛前試玩了一下座椅的功能。雖然說這不算是180度全平躺的座椅(只能斜躺),但對於四個多小時的航程已經是很夠了。我也很喜歡他們在座位旁邊安排一個可以放置筆電的收納區,還有插座可以拿來充電。我認為對於區域性的航班來說,這樣的座位算是非常好了,至少是絕對比我去年搭的華航商務艙好很多。雖然設計差不多,但整體的舒適感還是有差。

It was my first time in SQ’s regional business class seats, so I took some time to play with all its functions before take off. Even though it’s only an angled flat bed, it’s still very comfortable to sleep in for a 4-hour flight. I liked the fact that they have a laptop storage space next to the seat along with an outlet to charge your smarphones, tablets, laptops, etc. The blanket from Givenchy was also super comfortable. I’d say it’s a great seat for a regional flight, definitely better than the China Airlines one I flew from Taipei to Bangkok last summer, even though they had a similar design.

整個登機程序倒是完成地相當迅速,所以我們很快就起飛了。等到安全帶燈號熄滅之後,空服員就開始幫所有乘客點餐跟準備飲料。我點了一杯新加坡司令調酒,不過也就普普通通而已,沒有謠傳的那麼好喝。但整體的餐點服務非常不錯,幾乎所有東西都非常完美。可惜主餐真的是糟透了!我是先上網用新航的「名廚有約」點了牛排,但這次的牛排真的是我這輩子吃過最難吃的牛排,不只完全過熟而且乾硬到不行。但既然都已經在三萬英呎高空上享受了,就別要求太多了吧~

Boarding was actually completed very quickly, and we took off in no time. After the seatbelt sign was turned off, orders were taken and the FAs started preparing our first drink after take off. I had the legendary Singapore Sling, but it was only OK. The overall meal service was extraordinary. Everything was near perfect, except the steak I preordered from the “Book the Cook” service. It's probably the worst piece of meat I've ever had, both in the air and on the ground. It was completely dry and over-cooked. I decided to give it up after a few bites. But hey, I’m still enjoying a nice meal and champage at 30,000 feet, so what is there to complain about?

餐點服務結束的時候,我們大約才飛了一半左右的航程,所以我就開始用新航著名的機上娛樂系統 KrisWorld 看了一些電視影集。必須說 KrisWorld 真的是數一數二好的機上娛樂系統,不只是選擇多,畫質也是非常不錯。不久之後,就開始準備降落樟宜機場了。降落後空服員也有確保商務艙旅客優先下機,所以很快地我就已經在前往貴賓室的路上啦~

We were about half way to Singapore after meal service ended. So I decided to watch some TV shows from the KrisWorld system. It was truely one of the best IFEs out there. Love the quality and the selection. Soon we started our descent and had a smooth landing into Changi airport. The FAs did a good job making sure that all business class passengers leave first, so I was out into terminal 3 in no time and heading to the SilverKris Lounge.

在這次出發之前,我就已經聽過不少對第三航廈貴賓室的好評,特別是提到貴賓室空間非常大,食物也非常好吃。親身體驗過後也發現貴賓室真的非常非常大,而且裝潢也非常美。雖然說比較缺乏自然光,也比較暗一些,但是我還滿喜歡整個貴賓室的氛圍的。食物也確實相當不錯,選擇之多應該可以媲美五星級飯店的自助餐了吧!

I had heard many great things about the new SilverKris Lounge in T3, especially about its size and wonderful food selection. The lounge was truly very large and very well-decorated. Even though it lacked natural lighting and was on the dark side, the overall atmosphere was still great. The food selection was really nice as well. It could easily match a buffet at a hotel.

但也如許多人所說,新航在地勤的服務上還是落後其他部分非常多。這次因為隔天班機很早的關係,我不想要浪費時間進城,所以選擇在貴賓室過夜。在那段期間之內,我一直被地勤人員「盤問」我要搭哪班飛機,雖然說態度不差但還是相當惱人。而且工作人員在知道我要過夜的情況下,也沒有主動給我枕頭跟毛毯。我是一直等到看到其他人有之後,才知道可以跟他們拿的。而且在半夜一點到五點的時候,也幾乎沒有任何食物可以吃,而且工作人員也忙著打掃,所以並不是那麼適合休息。除非他們在貴賓室新增睡覺的區域,不然我下次應該不會在貴賓室過夜了吧。

到了早上我決定試用一下他們的淋浴設施。第三航廈貴賓室的淋浴間非常多,不過我覺得很怪的是淋浴間裡面竟然沒有廁所。但整體而言硬體設備還是非常好,而且不管是水壓或水溫都非常穩定。

However, like many had pointed out, the ground service did not match with the rest of the SQ experience. I had to spend the night in the lounge because I had an early flight in the morning and did not want to waste my time going into the city. I was questioned by the lounge staff of my departing flight schedule several times during the night, which was quite disturbing. Also, fully knowing that I was spending the night there, the staffs never proactively offered me pillows and blankets. I didn’t even know they were available until I saw other people getting them. There were hardly any food during 1AM to 5AM and the staffs were cleaning too. I’d avoid spending the night in the lounge next time, not unless they add a sleeping room/area in the lounge.

In the morning I went for a quick shower. They had plenty of shower rooms, but I found it weird that they don’t have a toilet in the shower room, but I still liked the hard product offered in the shower room. Water pressure and temperature were both very consistent.

因為到馬爾地夫的班機是從第二航廈出發,所以我在大概六點多的時候就決定去第二航廈的貴賓室看看。新航才剛整修過二航廈的貴賓室,所以裝潢和第三航廈是差不多的,但空間就小非常多。食物種類相對而言也較少,另外淋浴間也比較小一些。如果可以的話,我會建議大家都去使用第三航廈的貴賓室,反正新航是只要出示登機證就可以走透透的。因為當天貴賓室人很多,就沒有另外多拍照了。

As my flight to the Maldives was leaving from terminal 2, I decided to head to the lounge in T2 at around 6 AM. They just got the T2 lounge renovated, so it looked quite similar to the one in T3, but was much smaller. The food selection was also smaller, and so were the shower rooms. I’d recommend everyone to go to the lounge in T3. I didn't take any pictures because it was really crowded that morning.

我大約在登機開始前 35 分鐘就出發前往登機門。也剛好在我通過安檢之後,登機就開始了,所以我在登機門陷入一片混亂之前就率先完成了登機。這也是為什麼我不太喜歡樟宜機場把安檢和登機櫃台設置在登機門前的關係,因為既然大家在登機門的時候都已經算是完成了登機手續,也自然沒什麼人會管優先登機的事情,所以到了登機的時候常常都是一團亂。

I headed to the gate about 35 minutes before boarding, and boarding started right after I passed security and enter the gate area, so I managed to board before the whole fiasco begun. This is what I don’t like about the design of the gates in Changi, since you’re technically already “boarded” when you’re in the gate area, no one really cares about priority boarding. So it’s often a mess when boarding starts.

這段航程的商務艙就沒什麼人(大約只有半滿吧),所以服務就比上一班飛機好上非常多。也是這段航程的服務讓我真的有覺得被呵護的感覺。幾乎想到什麼需求,還不用說出口,空服員就已經主動幫我完成了。像是我準備要填馬爾地夫入境表的時候,空服員不但立刻附上一支筆,還順便給了我一整份的 writing kit!這也是為什麼我覺得新航服務比其他航空公司都好的原因,他們是真的會讓乘客覺得空服員是以服務為榮的,不會讓你覺得他們只是表面上裝有善,然後一回到 galley 就開始講乘客壞話(也許也還是會啦,但至少他們隱藏得很好?)。

Business class had a really light load (just about half of the seats taken), so service was much better than the previous flight. This was the flight that really made me feel pampered. Practically all my wishes were completed even without me asking first. Like when I was filling out the Maldives entry form, not only did the stewardess handed me a pen, she also gave me a set of writing kit! In my opinion this is what makes the SQ service extraordinary, the crew just makes you feel that they take pride in serving the customers and making everyone onboard happy. They won't just pretend to be friendly and bitch about you once they're in the galley (maybe they still do, but they certainly hide it very well).

因為要排隊等待起飛的關係,所以實際起飛的時間比預定的晚了一些。但一旦起飛之後,機組員就立刻開始準備送餐了。這次我預先點了雞肉,就比上一段的牛排好吃很多。但我最愛的還是當我因為選甜點(冰淇淋或草莓慕斯)猶豫了幾秒鐘的時候,空姐很快地就問我說“你希望兩個都要嗎?”這時候怎麼能拒絕空姐的好意呢~?

We had waited in a rather long queue for take off for quite a while, so our departure was a little delayed. After the seat belt sign was turned off, the crew started meal service very quickly. This time I pre-ordered chicken, which was very good. What I absolutely LOVE about this meal service is when I hesitated for just a few seconds when choosing my dessert (ice cream or strawberry mousse), the FA quickly asked “would you like to have both?” How could I say no to that?

I slept for a while and woke up just when we started our descent. The view was simply breathtaking. I highly recommend taking a window seat for this flight, the view of Maldives before landing is amazing. I have no words to describe it.

吃完飯之後我就小睡了一下,醒來時剛好是準備降落到馬爾地夫的時候。這時候窗外的景觀真的非常非常美。我強烈建議大家在這段航程選靠窗的位子,因為 view 真的太美了啦!!完全無法形容的美!!
















Landing was really smooth and business class passengers were the first ones off the plane. We had to walk to the terminal (no bridges), and once we got there, immigration and customs was just a breeze as there were no one in line.

不久之後我們就很順利地降落了,而且商務艙乘客也是第一個下機。因為沒有空橋,所以我們是走停機坪走進航廈的。進去之後也沒有什麼隊伍,所以很快就通關拿到行李,走出機場了!
